Oiltanking Ghent

Located at the Canal Ghent-Terneuzen, Oiltanking Ghent offers a total capacity of
1,000,000 m³ for the storage and handling of chemicals, biofuels and petroleum

Oiltanking Ghent facilitates distribution to local markets as well as distribution to
the European hinterland. International markets are accessible with Oiltanking’s
deepwater tanker facilities, rail and pipeline connections. Next to pipeline connections
to the neighbouring companies, Oiltanking Ghent is also connected to the
Central European Pipeline System, which gives access to nearly all major Northwest
European airports. Furthermore, the tank terminal is specialized in blending, mixing
and homogenizing products and offers customs and excise bonded storage.

Oiltanking Ghent is located at the Rodenhuize docks in the port of Ghent, amidst one
of the largest fully integrated production sites for biofuels in Europe. Oiltanking has
developed a biofuel hub for both biodiesel and bio-ethanol, with dedicated tank
storage and loading facilities for water, rail and road. The terminal has dedicated
systems and skilled personnel, trained in managing the customer’s products to the
latest safety and environmental standards. Their mind-set for flexibility enables
Oiltanking Ghent to create tailor-made services for individual storage and distribution

As a whole, Oiltanking is an independent logistic service provider to the oil and
chemical industry, specialised in tank storage and related services. With an overall
tank capacity of 17 million m³, Oiltanking is the world’s second largest liquid storage
provider. In the Scheldt area Oiltanking operates three tank terminals: Antwerp,
Ghent and Terneuzen.
